US says naval blockade on Iran continues, 58 vessels diverted The United States says it is maintaining its naval blockade on Iran, with operations ongoing in the region. US Central Command said in a post on X its forces have intercepted dozens of vessels since mid-April as part of efforts to enforce the blockade. In its weekly settlement report released on Saturday, the bureau said Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Transportation Minister Miri Regev announced the approval of the financing, which comes in addition to the 7bn shekels ($2. 4b) previously allocated for the construction of 952km of bypass roads in recent years.
