Israeli issues another forced evacuation order for Lebanon’s Tyre city The Israeli military has issued a further warning to residents in Lebanon’s city of Tyre and surrounding neighbourhoods to evacuate their homes ahead of new strikes. The message, delivered on X by the Israeli army’s Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee, ordered residents to “evacuate your homes immediately… and move north of the Zehrani River”. Hamas confirms death of newly appointed military chief In a statement delivered on Wednesday, Hamas officially confirmed the death of Mohammad Odeh, the head of Hamas's armed wing in Gaza, after being targeted by an Israeli attack. The strike hit a residential building in al-Rimal neighbourhood, west of Gaza City, on Tuesday night. Iran says draft of US deal would reopen Hormuz, end naval blockade Tehran has received a draft of the initial unofficial framework for a memorandum of understanding with the US, Iranian state TV reported on Wednesday. Iran announces reopening of Tabriz airport after bombing Tabriz International Airport in northwestern Iran is set to reopen for the first time since it was targeted in the US-Israeli strikes on Iran, according to the Civil Aviation Organisation. “Tabriz Airport, which was attacked during the recent war, has now been restored to activity by Iranian specialists and will reopen on Wednesday,” a spokesperson said in an announcement carried in Iranian media. Israeli forces order demolition of seven apartments near Jerusalem The Israeli military issued an order on Wednesday for the demolition of seven apartments in the Qalandya village, north of Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.
